Geelong local Barry is recognised as a multimedia artist, a passionate upcycler of all materials and an impossible bottle maker. His favourite media include leather, metals and glass. A former seaman, Barry considers himself as a self-indulgent experimental maker and creative problem solver.
Barry enjoys all art and craft fields with much of his focus on Australian themes. His work "Another Year of Knots" which saw him doing a unique knot per day, was on display at the National Wool Museum. Other exhibitions include Boom Gallery, the International Guild of Knottyers Australian Show NSW, Lost Trades show Melbourne, Queenscliffe Maritime Museum, and Melbourne Magic Festival.
Barry features in "Impossibottles" for his impossible bottle artwork. Barry sees himself continuing on his creative journey producing handmade crafty items that are fun and useful, unique and eye-catching pieces.
